Seasonal fairs where national producers can sell fruit and vegetables became available in Chisinau, IPN reports.

In the ordinary meeting of officials of Chisinau services, deputy mayor Olga Ursu said that under a decision taken in April, 15 places for seasonal fairs that will work on Saturdays and Sundays were approved initially. However, two more locations were agreed after last week’s meeting with district heads and representatives of the General Division of Economy and Trade.  

Furthermore, there were agreed nine permanent venues for seasonal fairs in two districts of the city, where national agricultural producers will be able to sell goods throughout the week in the period between July 19 and August 31.  

To be able to exhibit fruit and vegetables at these fairs, the producers need to file an application to the district head’s office, which will issue a functioning authorization for each selling place.
