The police carried out searches at four medical centers in Fălești district in a case started following the discovery of fake vaccine certificates, issued without the person being immunized against COVID-19, IPN reports, quoting the General Police Inspectorate.

As a result of searches, the police seized 320 vaccine certificates, copies of identity cards belonging to different persons, registers of vaccinated persons and over 600 blank vaccination consent papers. There were found three vaccine certificates with names of persons who actually didn’t get a vaccine and drafts of notes with identify data.

The seized documents are being examined.

Those involved face a fine of at most 32,500 lei, community service at a maximum jail term of two years.
