Officers of the Internal Protection and Anticorruption Service (IPAS) are carrying out searches at a multifunctional center in Comrat, in a case concerning influence peddling and forgery of documents.

Contacted by IPN for a comment, the Service’s press officer Natalia Şeremet explained that the measures are part of an ongoing criminal case. "At the moment, IPAS officers are conducting searches. The actions are taken within a criminal case of influence peddling and forgery of documents," confirmed Şeremet.

The press officer also said that additional details about the raids and their result will be communicated after all criminal procedural actions are completed.
