The Shor Party said masked officers today stormed the Electoral Commission building in Comrat to conduct searches, immediately after the Commission confirmed the win of Yevgeniya Gutsul in the past Sunday’s gubernatorial runoff.

According to the Shor Party, the officers were looking for electoral tally reports to hand them to the Comrat Court of Appeals.

Earlier, the National Anticorruption Center said it had evidence that Gutsul’s campaign staff was engaged in vote buying, in transporting voters to polling places, and in taking illegal funding from a criminal group.
