Anticorruption prosecutors and officers of the National Anticorruption Center (NAC) have raided offices in the Ministry of Justice building.

NAC spokesperson Angela Starinschi told IPN the searches are in connection with a series of corruption and official misconduct cases involving staff of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Education, as well as notaries public and employees of translation agencies.

The suspects are accused of doctoring documents for Moldovans and foreigners.
