The Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) ordered verifying the accusations concerning the frauds in the activity of companies with state capital and with dominant market positions that were made in the October 15 sitting of Parliament. In a communique, the PGO says measures will be taken to document and evaluate the invoked irregularities in the activity of Moldtelecom, Moldovagaz, Air Moldova, the Chisinau Airport and other companies, IPN reports.

The results of the investigations will be presented to the PGO when these are completed and the public will be also informed about the inquiries. In parallel, there will be performed examinations to see how the criminal cases concerning the offenses committed in the mentioned areas are managed.
