Plastic artist Ion Bolocan displayed all his works in a personal exhibition at the Exhibitions Center “Constantin Brancusi“. “The exhibitions show the positive evolution of an artist. This exhibit includes all the works I made throughout my life,” Ion Bolocan said in the opening of the event. The exhibits – marble and bronze sculptures – represent mainly the woman. According to art critic Liviu Hancu, Ion Bolocanu is a reference artist in the field of arts in Moldova as his works are extraordinary by their plasticity. The artist’s sculptures give birth to many ideas, challenges, feelings. “During the last few years, I did not see artists with such a plastic load. The artist knows exactly how things should look and leaves no chance to the accident,” said Liviu Hancu, stressing nothing can be removed or added to the works. The exhibition will continue until November 6.
