Scorpions will come to Chisinau on agreed date
The legendary rock band Scorpions will give a concert in Chisinau on the City's Day marked on October 14, as announced earlier, producers of the event assured in a news conference on Friday, October 8.
The concerns that the band might not come to Moldova on the agreed date arose after a number of foreign portals announced that frontman Klaus Meine suffers from laryngitis and doctors recommended he should not sign for a week. The Scorpions concert set to take place in Athens on Thursday was postponed, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Vlad Constandoi, producer of the concert in Chisinau, said the fans of Scorpions should not worry as the members of the band confirmed they will get to Chisinau by the City's Day.
Vlad Constandoi also said the news that the frontman got sick did not affect the sale of tickets for the concert in Chisinau. About 70% of the tickets have been sold.
The security of the event will be ensured by a private company and the police. For security reasons, all those who will attend the concert, will be asked not to take pictures and make records.
The concert will take place on the Zimbru Stadium starting at 5pm.
