Score of participants in First House program recalculated
The Chisinau City Hall has announced that it finished recalculating the score of the participants in the municipal program “First House”, at the request of the persons who did not agree with the calculations done by the district heads' offices, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Finance Division head Veronica Herta said that this score is decisive in the process of distributing apartments. It is calculated on the basis of the criteria defined in the program, including the ability to repay the bank loan, the monthly income of the applicant and others. Most of the complaints were filed by applicants who submitted the documents to the Ciocana and Botanica district heads' offices.
“Only those who do not work do not make mistakes. It wasn't an intentional mistake. The selected persons can also apply to other components of the program than the apartments that are being built on Ghioceilor St,” Veronica Herta said.
Within the municipal program “First House”, the people can buy an apartment in the building erected on Ghioceilor St, which will be finished in the fourth quarter of next year, an attic-type apartment or an old apartment on the secondary market if the applicant presents a precontract.
The program is open to private individuals who do not have dwellings or whose apartments or houses are smaller than the norm of 12 square meters per person, who live or work in the municipality of Chisinau and can pay for the apartments in installments from their monthly income. The applications are submitted to the district heads’ offices of Chisinau.
As many as 389 applications have been accepted so far. Another 62 applications are being examined. The loans are repayable in 10 to 30 years at an interest rate of 9% a year. Until the loan is repaid, the apartments will remain as pledge with the banks.
