The students who will study religion in schools during the new academic year will be furnished with textbooks, Info-Prim Neo reports. On August 25, the Government decided to allocate 1 million lei from its reserve fund for reediting the religion textbooks, the guidebook for teachers who will teach this subject and other teaching aids. Under a Government Decision approved earlier, religion in the first-ninth grades will be an optional course. The students who want to study religion will only present an application written by their parents.
