Beginning next Monday, January 24, and until at least February 4, public schools will transition to online learning. Vocational schools and higher education institutions will remain online until at least February 20, except for the State University of Medicine, which will have blended arrangements.
This was decided today by the Extraordinary Commission on Public Health in anticipation of a rise in coronavirus cases due to the omicron variant.
Under the decision, all educational and instructive gatherings, such as conferences or seminars, will have to be held online as well. The same goes for professional meetings.
Public and private entities have been instructed to organize work remotely or in shifts where possible.
