Schools from flood-stricken villages receive new computers and furniture
Prime Minister Vlad Filat took part in the September 1 festivities held at the schools in Nemteni, Obileni and Leuseni villages and donated ten computers and furniture for the computer rooms to these schools, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Government's press service.
The schools in these villages will be attended by children from settlements that have been affected by floods. Seventy-seven children from flood-hit families will go to the school in Nemteni. Eleven of them are from Cotul Morii village. Fifty-one children from Sarateni and 33 from Cotul Morii will attend the school in Obileni, while 38 children from affected families will go to the high school in Leuseni.
“It was a summer full of challenges, but we coped with all of them. We showed that we can overcome the problems if we work together. Cotul Morii, Nemteni, Obileni and Sarateni remained in my heart and I promise we will help them in the future,” Vlad Filat said.
The Premier wished the children success at school, while the teachers – assiduous students and good working conditions. He talked with residents of the flood-hit villages and pledged they will be provided with homes by the start of winter.
