The about 330,000 students of Moldova had the school year end festivities today, May 30. Out of the total, 19,000 students graduate from the twelfth grade, about 30,000 – from the ninth grade, while 32,000 finished the primary school, IPN reports.
Minister of Education and Research Anatolie Topală transmitted a message on the occasion of the end of the 2022/2023 school year. “I’m sure that everything you studied this year is very important for your human, intellectual formation and will motivate you to become responsible citizens of the Republic of Moldova, with respect for yourself and for the others, in consonance with the general human values,” he stated.
The minster wished success to the ninth and twelfth graders in the graduation exams, trust in the own forces and resolve to achieve the set goals and to realize the own potential.
This year the authorities decided that the school year end festivities in the country will be held one day earlier given the measures taken to prepare for the European Political Community Summit that Moldova hosts on June 1.
