The vocational school No. 16 in Valea Norocului village of Sangerei district will be absorbed by the vocational school of Alexandreni village of the same district. A decision to this effect is to be approved by the Government on April 1, IPN reports.

Based on the 2014 admission plan, the vocational school of Valea Norocului was allotted 75 budget-funded places for teaching the jobs of tractor driver and plasterer. However, only 18 persons filed applications to this school. Eleven students were transferred to other secondary vocational education institutions, while two stay at a temporary placement center. Five applicants refused to study.

Under the draft decision, the teaching staff of the vocational school No. 16 will be laid off in accordance with the legislation, if the transfer to other schools is not possible.
