School in Molesti renovated with U.S. support

U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova William Moser visited the village of Molesti, where the United States recently completed a full renovation of Molesti High School's sanitation facilities, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a press release from the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau. “As a result of this renovation project, students and faculty at Molesti High School will now have access to better sanitation facilities, improving their quality of life and health,” says the press release. Ambassador Moser congratulated faculty and staff for their dedicated efforts despite the difficult circumstances they face, and he reminded the students, young and old alike, to study well and take advantage of their educational opportunities. The Molesti High School serves over 400 children in Ialoveni district. Renovation of the Molesti High School is part of a larger series of eight renovation projects throughout the Republic of Moldova at a cost of over $433,000. This project was coordinated by the U.S. Embassy's Office of Defense Cooperation and administered though the United States European Command Civic Engagement Program.
