112 children attending the primary school in the village of Purcari, Stefan-Voda district, a settlement badly affected by this summer’s flooding events, will receive bags full of school supplies on September 1 when the school year begins. The aid is offered by the Book Distribution Society Pro Noi, Info-Prim Neo reports. “September the 1st must be, first of all, an occasion for joy, and this joy mustn’t be shadowed by the troubles that affected the families of these children. By giving them these school bags, we want to make these children forget the troubles experienced this summer, we want them to make a confident step into the school, and, at the same time, give the parents a helping hand that they need at the beginning of the school year”, said Oleg Bodrug, director general of Book Distribution Society Pro Noi.
