The citizens of the Republic of Moldova can apply for three types of scholarships provided by the Government of Switzerland for the 2018-2019 academic year. These are designed for research studies of 12 months, doctoral studies of three years and postdoctoral studies of 12 months in Swiss universities, IPN reports.

The age limit of the applicants for research and postdoctoral studies is 35. Proficiency in a foreign language, such as French, German, Italian or English, depending on the chosen university and its requirements, is mandatory.

Applications can be submitted to the Swiss Cooperation Office in Moldova from 2:30pm to 5:00pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, during September 6 – November 15, 2017.
