Scholarships to study in Poland for Moldovan young people
The Polish-American Freedom Foundation and the Polish-American Fulbright Commission announce a new open contest “Lane Kirkland” to provide scholarships for the 2012-2013 university year, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The program is intended for young people with higher education, leaders interested in the development of democracy, economy and society in the country. It consists of two semesters of studies at universities in Poland and 2-4 weeks of professional probation at government and private institutions.
Experts, politicians, Government employees, entrepreneurs, managers, NGO leaders, teachers and journalists can compete for a scholarship. They must have Moldovan citizenship and domicile in Moldova, complete higher education (Master’s degree) and be younger than 35. They must also have a good command of Polish so as to be active at the lessons and write a scientific work. Work experience of at least two years is needed.
The necessary documents include an application filled out online on the electronic address http://forms.kirkland.edu.pl, personal data, a letter of motivation with suggestions and plans for the future, two letters of reference and the copy of the diploma of studies. The deadline for applications is March 1.
The winners of the program will receive a monthly scholarship of 1 800 Polish zloty, which is equal to €450. There will be also covered the education fees, the accommodation in Poland, the health insurance, the travel expenses to and from Poland, the price of visa and teaching and educational assistance materials. The computers lent to the scholars will become their property after the conditions of the program are fully met.
