In a move to support the future teachers, the Cabinet decided that the scholarships of students of teacher training faculties will be increased twofold, IPN reports.

The students of cycle I studying for a bachelor’s degree will get: 2,810 lei – scholarship of category I; 2,800 lei – scholarship of category II; 2,200 de lei – scholarship of category III.

The size of the scholarship for last-year students studying education specialties was raised to 3,280 lei for category I, to 2,800 lei for category II and to 2,570 lei for category III.

Of all the students, 10% receive scholarship of category I, 20% - scholarship of category II, while 70% - scholarship of category III.
