The United States is offering study scholarships in two of the most prestigious military education institutions in the U.S.: West Point Military Academy and Air-Force Academy, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a press release of the Moldovan Ministry of Defense, applications can be submitted by both men and women between 18 and 23 years of age as of 1 July 2013. The persons who apply need to be graduates of a high school or higher education. A compulsory condition for the candidates is that they are not married or have any sort of responsibility towards raising one or more children. One of the basic requirements is to be fluent in English. The level of English will be tested through the TOEFL test. Also, until 2 January 2013, the candidates will have to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT). The Candidates will also participate in several sports trials. They will be administered by the Ministry of Defense, together with the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau. The applications can be submitted at the Management Division of the Ministry of Defense, until 15 October 2012. The duration of the studies is 4 years, and the tuition fees are fully covered by the American government.
