Moldova’s Railways has announced changes in the Chisinau – Iasi and Chisinau – Varnița train routes as from July 22, IPN reports.
Two routes a day will be operated to Iasi. The train will leave the Chisinau Railway Station at 06:33am. It will reach the Ungheni Internatonal Station at 09:51am and Iasi (Socola) at 11:13am. It will return at 11:40am and will get to Chisinau at 4:15pm. The second route is announced for 09:33am from Chisinau. The train will reach Ungheni at 1:00pm and Iasi at 2:27pm. To Chisinau, it will set off at 5:40pm and will get to the terminal at 10:00pm.
Tickets cost 90, 100 or 130 lei, depending on the comfort class. Discounts are offered for children.
The timetable of the local Chisinau –Varnița (Tighina) train route was also modified. The train will set off from the Varnița Station (Tighina) at 05:05am and will get to the Chisinau Terminal at 07:05am. The train will leave Chisinau at 5:55pm and Varnița (Tighina) at 7.55pm.
