A woman, 64, got severe burns after a gas cylinder exploded this morning in her summer kitchen, in the village of Chișcăreni, Sângerei district.
The Emergencies Inspectorate said the explosion was from a leak of gas after the woman tried to connect the LPG cylinder to her stove.
The woman was rushed to the district hospital and put in intensive care.
The village is not connected to gas supply so people there have to make do with whatever means available.
