The workers of the Green Areas association renewed the sand at a number of beaches in Chisinau. The local authorities reported that all the shower cubicles are functional, IPN reports.

The association’s head Eliferie Haruta said the works to prepare the recreational areas in Chisinau were completed last week. The works to replace the sand at the recreational areas in the Parks “Valea Trandafirilor”, “Rascani” and “La izvor” were finished. A quantity of over 3,000 cubic meters of sand has been transported there.

Eliferie Haruta noted that the sand at all the recreational areas is being turned over. The changing rooms were repaired, while the shower cubicles are all serviceable.

The Public Health Center recommends the population to go and rest in protected areas, not to swim in polluted ponds, to attentively read the posters placed in recreational areas and to follow the recommendations.
