Sales manager of Exfactor detained by NAC officers

Update /03:36 p.m./: The sales manager of Exfactor construction company based in Chisinau was detained by NAC officers and prosecutors in a case of forgery of public documents for the purpose of illegally registering a building in Chisinau, IPN reports.

According to the NAC, the person was detained for 72 hours and remanded in custody following searches carried out at his home on Monday morning.

The law enforcement officers established that "representatives and decision-makers of the construction company, together with employees of the National Inspectorate for Technical Supervision, allegedly prepared and falsified the Inspection Act and the Final Reception Act of a building located on
Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard in the capital city, without the legal examination procedure being carried out on the spot. Also, as a continuation of the criminal intent, the mentioned documents were submitted to the Chisinau Local Cadastral Office with the request to include the residential block in the Real Estate Register in order to subsequently put it into operation. The request was rejected by the Office for the reason that the attached documents were inauthentic.”
