The wholesale and retail sale of flowers on Calea Basarabiei St, on the territory adjoining the market “Extremum”, was prohibited. The flower growers will be able to sell their merchandise at the market situated on Carbunarilor St, which is a branch of the Central Market. According to a communiqué from the City Hall, Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca made an order, whereby the administration of the Central Market is obliged to create conditions needed for the sale of flowers at the marked located on Carbunarilor St. Earlier, the mayor said the decision to move the flower sellers was taken with the aim of better organizing trading in the municipality of Chisinau. He also said that many people complained about illegalities committed at the ad hoc markets.
