Starting with July 1, 2019, the persons who benefit from child benefit will be able to collect the benefit and the salary in parallel if they return to work, IPN reports, quoting a bill approved by the executive.

Also, as of January 1, 2020, the right to the monthly childcare benefit will be exercised optionally. The beneficiary will collect the benefit until the child turns three in the amount of 30% of the calculation basis for each year or up to the child’s age of two in the amount of 60% of the calculation basis for the first year and of 30% for the second year.

The draft law provides the allowance for temporary incapacity for work caused by tuberculosis, AIDS or cancer will be paid regardless of the length of the insurance period.
