Salaries in justice raised by 35%

The salaries in the legal system will be raised three times until 2016. As a result of the first pay raise, the employees of the justice sector received salaries by 35% higher. The announcement was made by Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim in a news conference, IPN reports.

Oleg Efrim said that all the justice sector employees have benefited from pay raises and this is the first increase after 2005. “The justice sector reform strategy envisions that the pays will be increased at least three trims until 2016. The President put forward a bill providing for the increase in judges’ salaries. It was examined by the Government. But, we experienced a political crisis and were unable to budget the necessary financial resources,” said the minister.

Oleg Efrim assured that all the commitments will be fulfilled and the functionaries from the legal system will be paid decent salaries so that they do their duties honestly. When they work honestly, money will appear for raising the salaries of all the budget-funded employees.
