The general assembly of shareholders of SA Tracom decided to set up an industrial park on the territory of the former Chisinau Tractor Factory. The creation of the park, which will be administered by SA Tracom, will enable to revitalize the company and will stimulate the attraction of new residents and investments in implementing new technologies and equipment and in modernizing the production infrastructure, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Economy. The decision was taken following a feasibility study, which envisions keeping the industrial base and developing production so as to make high value-added goods. In order to implement this project, the Ministry of Economy drafted a Government Decision on granting SA Tracom the title of the Industrial Park, which was submitted to the responsible institutions for approval and is to be discussed by the executive in one of the next meetings.
