Thermal energy supplier of the capital S.A. Termocom starts on Monday, 27 February, to switch off 67 apartment blocs of Chisinau. The manager of Termocom, Dionisie Antocel, announced about this. According to him, those 67 blocs proposed to switch off have the level of payment 0 and 30 %. He also said that daily would be switched off 2-3 blocs of every district of the capital. The municipal counsellor, Oleg Cernei, who is the chairman of the Municipal Council of Dwelling Associations, said that the intensions of the supplier to switch off the thermal agent apartment blocs of the capital were note done because the regulation stipulates that while the heating season, any bloc should not be switched off the central heat. According to him, the heating season will be closed very soon and Termocom should collect the debts in spring, summer and autumn, it means, till the next season begins. Regarding the consumers having historical debts, Cernei underlines that the supplier should work with every one apart. Starting on 20 February, Termocom intended to switch off the thermal agent, for debts, 86 apartment blocs of the capital, the action being postponed at the request of the interim mayor of municipality Chisinau, Vasile Ursu. Ursu asked than that the supplier postpone the switching off for a week, while the district offices, and police work with the inhabitants in order they pay the debts. Termocom announced that it would switch off the thermal agent the blocs of the capital having great debts. In autumn last year, once the heating season started, Termocom intended to leave without central heat the debtors, these blocs being, nevertheless, connected, in exchange of drafting some payment schedules.
