The company SA Floarea Soarelui dropped the price of the sunflower oil 30%. Now one liter of its Floris oil costs 16.80 lei, while the Rasarit oil – 15.60 lei. According to a communique by the company, the wholesale prices will go down in the near future, since a rich sunflower harvest has been recorded in the Black Sea area. The company expects the oil output will exceed the market demand. As a result, the prices will drop not only in Moldova but the whole area. SA Floarea Soarelui also decides to diversify its products. The Balti factory has launched Missis Floris, Floris Family and Rasarit. SA Floarea Soarelui is the largest vegetal oil producer in Moldova. It is part of the WJ transnational group. Its products are exported to Russia, the CIS, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Iraq, U.S., etc.
