SA Edilitate will be in charge of pluvial water channels in Chisinau
The municipal company SA Edilitate will be responsible for cleaning the pluvial water drainage channels in Chisinau. It was selected at an auction out of four participating companies. Project manager Natalia Lipca has told Info-Prim Neo that the price offered by SA Edilitate was the deciding factor in choosing the winner.
SA Edilitate was selected by the third attempt. Earlier, the Chisinau City Hall held two auctions that attracted no bidders except SA Edilitate. Natalia Lipca said that the company’s equipment and experience were also taken into account, besides the price offered by it for executing the works.
Natalia Lipca also said that the works to clean the pluvial water drainage channels in the capital city will start next week. Initially, it was projected that they will begin in February.
The project with European financing, launched by the local authorities, will be implemented in two stages. At the first stage, there will be cleaned the most problematic areas, including the square of the Railway Terminal, and the streets Haltei and Tabacaria Veche. Afterward, there will be built a water reservoir near the Railway Terminal. The works will start in June. The budget of the project is €731,000.
