The Rybnitsa-based cement factory and metallurgical plant stopped work. The information was published on the website of the news agency “Regnum”, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the head of the Rybnitsa public administration Tatiana Turanskaya, only the cement factory contributed to the budget by paying taxes last year. Tatiana Turanskaya told the journalists that in order to support the financial and business activities, the private companies were granted numerous concessions during the last few years. However, these companies didn’t fully use these concessions and this support will be now minimized. According to the head of the Rybnitsa administration, over the last three years these companies benefited from support in the form of lower prices for electric power, of US$120 million. The businesses started to face problems in 2011 and 2012.
