Ruxanda Glavan creates parliamentary platform “For Moldova”

MP Ruxanda Glavan, who recently left the parliamentary group “Pro Moldova”, has announced the creation of the platform “For Moldova”. She said that in a move to reanimate Parliament and to resume work, she and a group of unaffiliated MPs launched the initiative to sign the convention on the creation of the given platform, IPN reports.

“We make a call for unity to all the MPs, regardless of the political affiliation and views, who care about the people and the country, to come together and bring the chaos in Parliament to an end. Responsibility, wish and readiness to work and love for the country – these are the main motivations of the parliamentary platform “For Moldova”. No matter how we appear on the political arena – as unaffiliated, as factions or as parliamentary groups, with or without parties behind – we ultimately have one party, the Republic of Moldova, and a common political duty – to do good things for the citizens of Moldova,” Ruxanda Glavan posted on Facebook.

Ruxanda Glavan joined the parliamentary group “Pro Moldova” led by Andrian Candu after leaving the Democratic Party. A week ago, she and MPs Sergiu Sîrbu, Grigore Repeshchuk and Eleonora Graur announced that they withdrew from “Pro Moldova” and will sit as unaffiliated MPs.
