The famous Russian band “Mashina Vremeni” (“Time Machine) will give a live concert in Bulboaca village of Anenii Noi district, within the ceremony to inaugurate the Mimi Castle, on September 17. According to the organizers, “Mashina Vremeni” is a legendary rock music band in the post-Soviet area, which was founded in 1969. It is one of the few active bands with such a long history, IPN reports.
The band will perform its last album “You” and hits from other discs in the complete official composition: Andrei Makarevich— soloist, guitar; Alexandr Krutikov — voice, bass guitar; Valerii Efremov — drums; Andrei Derjavin — piano, back-vocal.
The band’s last album was launched on May 6, 2016 and contains 10 songs. The most recent disc of the group contains songs written in 2014-2015 and several songs of the 19980s-90s. The band is also known for the album “Time Machine” that was released in 1969, but entered the official discography only in 2007. The lyrics and music were mainly written by the leader Andrei Makarevich, who has managed the band uninterruptedly since its foundation.
The last time, “Mashina Vremeni” performed in Chisinau in 2009. In 2014, it gave a concert together with the Orchestra Kreolskogo Tango. “We are glad to return with a live concert to the Republic of Moldova. Friends, we are waiting for you all at the Mimi Castle on September 17,” stated soloist Andrei Makarevich.
Performances in Bulboaca on September 17 will also be given by the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra, Brio Sonores, Vali Boghean, Aura, and Vitalie Dani. The event starts at 1pm and lasts until 10pm. Tickets costs 200 to 300 lei and are available from the Librarius network or on iTicket.md.
