Russia offers 160 fellowships to Moldovan graduates
The Russian Federation provides 160 scholarships for the 2009-2010 academic year to Moldovan young persons under an agreement signed with the Ministry of Education and Youth. The graduates will benefit from 150 fellowships for university studies and 10 fellowships for post-university studies. The contest will be held at the State University of Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Education Ministry.
The applicants must file an application for participation, the authenticated copy of the school records and of its annex translated into Russian, the academic standing for the graduates of the 2009 class. The certificates must be validated by the head of the education institution and must contain the average mark for the years of study. Also, the graduates must submit the copy of the birth certificate, of the medical certificate in Russian and of the identity card, 4 photographs 3 x 4 and copies of the diplomas showing that the applicants participated in national and international Olympiads.
The selected applicants will benefit from free studies and accommodation in dormitories for payment.
The Russian Academy of State Service at the President of the Russian Federation has announced the opening of the admission contest for foreigners to primary university studies, secondary university studies, professional re-qualification and internship. The students will be in full-time, part-time and evening education. They will be accommodated in the dormitory at the Academy’s campus.
Also, the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry has initiated the selection of applicants for the 2009-2010 academic year. In 2009, the Diplomatic Academy provides 15 budget-paid seats to Moldovan citizens. The accommodation in dormitories is for payment. There will be offered no fellowships. This year, the applicants will be selected for three-year studies (the second faculty) at the International Relations and World Economy departments, on the basis of the university diploma.
The applicants will be tested between August 10 and 21, 2009. The tests include exams in Russian and a foreign language (chosen by the applicant) and an interview on Moldova’s foreign policy and international relations. The deadline for applications is July 31, 2009.
