Russia helps Moldovan flood-stricken

The trucks with Russian humanitarian aid for the Moldovan flood-stricken people will reach Chisinau on Monday, August 4, says the Emergency deputy minister, Aleksandr Chuprian, quoted by Russian media. The consignment consists of power generators, blankets, welding equipment, pumps, tents, dishes, beds and disinfecting medicines, totaling 50.7 tonnes. Russia also sends material aid to Ukraine. The convoys are to reach Ivano-Frankivsk on August 4, too. According to latest official data, the Prut river flooded 350 houses in Briceni district, as 91 of them crushed. 11 houses may crush in Rascani district. The Nistru flooded 28 houses in Ocnita, 44 -- in Soroca, 4 -- in Soldanesti, 22 -- in Rezina, 208 villas in Anenii Noi, 38 houses in Causeni, 170 houses in Criuleni, Info-Prim Neo reports.
