The former acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu will contend in the November 5 local elections in an electoral bloc. This will consist of the People Power People he leads and the Political Party “Social-Christian Union of Moldova” headed by ex-minister Valeriu Pleșca. The bloc named “Ruslan Codreanu” was registered on Saturday with the Central Election Commission, IPN reports.

The Commission also registered the bloc’s electoral symbol that represents the name of the bloc written with capital letters, “RUSLAN CODREANU”, inserted in a circle.

The member parties of the electoral bloc will not be able to designate independently candidates for the November 5, 2023 local general elections.
