A mayoral turnoff vote is needed in Balti as none of the candidates won 50% of the poll + 1 vote to be declared the winner, IPN reports.
According to the preliminary results, after all the 60 voting reports were processed, two candidates obtained the largest score: Our Party’s candidate Alexandr Petkov with 22.39% of the ballot and independent candidate Arina Korshikova with 21.52% of the vote.
