Procedures for importing humanitarian aid delivered to the Moldovan Government for the assistance of Ukrainian refugees have been simplified, as decided by the National Commission for Emergencies today.
According to the Government, the simplified procedures apply only when a governmental institution – such as the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection or the Ministry of Health – is on the receiving end.
Also, the Commission greenlighted the Civil Aviation Authority’s initiative to organize irregular commercial flights for Ukrainian refugees wishing to migrate further, as an exception from a ban on all civilian flights in place during the ongoing state of emergency.
In addition, the Commission has made it easier to import veterinary drugs certified by the European Medicines Agency.
