The minibus route No.110 will be different from March 1. The Chisinau Electric Transport Company will increase the number of trolleybuses on this route by six units so that they will run at an interval of two minutes and a half, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the head of the Public Transport and Communications Division Adrian Boldurescu, the minibus route No.110 will be modified because it currently coincides 97% with the trolleybus route No.10. The move is aimed at reducing traffic congestion. From the terminus on Studentilor St., the minibuses No.110 will go to Posta Veche sector, then to Botanica district, towards Varnita St. The new route is not definitive yet, said Adrian Boldurescu. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Mihai Reus, administrator of route No.110, said he agreed with the Public Transport and Communications Division to submit related proposals. “We work for the passengers’ benefit and it is the passengers who must be asked if they want the route to be changed or not. The competition law must be obeyed, while the passengers must have an alternative,” he stated. Mihai Reus also said that he invested €20,000 to €45,000 in every unit of transport. There are 44 minibuses running on route No.110.
