Rosselhoznadzor experts to come to Chisinau
A delegation of Russia's agriculture food watchdog Rosselhoznadzor will be paying a working visit to Chisinau between September 23 and 25. The Russian experts will discuss the requirements and functionality of the system for ensuring the safety of vegetal products, said Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Valeriu Cosarciuc, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The Russian delegation headed by Rosselhoznadzor deputy director Alexei Saurin will have meetings with specialists of the Phytosanitary Inspectorate, exporters and producers of fruit and vegetables.
“The Russian partners will make field visits to see how the products prepared for Russia are being supplied, legalized and tested and how the food safety system is working,” said the minister.
Valeriu Cosarciuc reiterated that the Russian authorities accepted all the 140 companies proposed by Moldova as exporters of fruit and vegetables. The list does not include the 33 companies that earlier encountered export-related problems.
