Rospotrebnadzor experts to come to Chisinau today

Experts of Russia’s consumer rights watchdog Rospotrebnadzor will arrive in Chisinau in the afternoon of October 9, the head of the Agriculture Ministry’s State Inspectorate for Alcoholic Products Supervision Andrei Gurin has told IPN. The visit is coordinated by the Embassy of Russia in Moldova.

Contacted by IPN, the embassy’s press officer Anatoli Loshakov said that details about the program of the Russian experts’ visit to Chisinau will be published on the website of the embassy by this evening.

The head of the National Center for Assessment of Quality of Alcoholic Products Rodica Sturza said she was informed that the experts of Rospotrebnadzor will visit the center, but she does now know the day and hour.

Earlier, Minister of Agriculture Vasile Bumacov said the Russian experts come to Chisinau to examine the wine testing laboratories. Afterward, Russia will decide when to resume the imports of Moldovan alcoholic beverages. Russia imposed a ban a month ago.
