Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici appreciated Romania’s constant assistance in promoting reforms and projects to modernize Moldova, underlining the importance of this state’s experience in implementing the European agenda. He made such statements in a meeting with Romania’s Minister-delegate for Relations with Romanians Everywhere Angel Talvar, IPN reports.
The two officials pleaded for developing the cooperation potential in different areas. “We are firmly determined to achieve the European integration objective and to come closer to the European standards. In this respect Romania’s experience is very valuable to us,” said Chiril Gaburici.
Angel Talvar reasserted the readiness to continue the modernization projects in Moldova and Romania’s support for Moldova’s Europeans course. “We hope to further have relations based on cooperation, identification of common themes and the democratic development of Moldova and Romania. I think we are the partners on whom you can count,” he stated.
The Romanian official had been in Moldova on a visit on March 26-27.
