Romanians allowed to enter Moldova only with visas
From Thursday, April 9, the Romanian citizens will be able to travel to Moldova only if they have entry visas. The decision was made by the Government several minutes ago. Vladimir Voronin is taking part in the meeting.
The decision says that the visa regime between Moldova and Romania is imposed following the recent events that endanger the constitutional order in Moldova. The acts were condemned by the United Nations, the European Union, the Council of Europe, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and a number of states.
The decision is designed to defend the state of law and restore the order, the informative note to the document says.
