The Federation of Bessarabian Students of Romania announces the launch of a campaign to inform the Moldovan graduates about the possibilities of studying at Romanian universities. The fifth University Fair that forms part of the AdmiteRO campaign will take place on the Alley of Classical Writers in Chisinau on July 15-16, IPN reports.

In Balti, the Fair will be staged on July 17, while in Cahul – on July 18. The event will involve volunteers of the associations of Bessarabians in Romania and students of the main Romanian university centers based in 15 towns.

Constantin Cernega, of the Association of Bessarabian Students of Bucharest, told a news conference that they expect more than 5,000 people to take part in the fair this year, similar to last year. The young people will be presented information about the admission file and about more university centers than the 16 that are present traditionally.

Cristina Leahu, of the Bessarabian Initiative Group of Cluj-Napoca, said the young people will benefit from counseling in a wide range of subjects and will be offered brochures about the extracurricular activities. They will also find out how it is to be a student in Romania and how the mistakes made often can be avoided.

Romania this year offers over 5,600 scholarships to study at colleges and universities and for residency and doctoral studies.
