Romanian summer camp Euforie Sud to house about 300 children from Moldova
About 300 Moldovan children and 23 accompanying teachers will rest at the summer camp Eforie Sud in Romania’s Constanta county during August 14-20. 185 of the children are from flood-hit areas, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Education.
The agreement to allow the children to rest there was reached as a result of discussions held by Prime Minister Vlad Filat with officials of the Government of Romania through the agency of the Romanian Ambassador in Chisinau Marius Lazurca.
Ninety-two children with high school standing are already resting at Eforie Sud. They went there under a cooperation contract signed by Moldova’s Ministry of Education with the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport of Romania.
