Romania’a President Klaus Iohannis will pay a working visit to Chisinau on Wednesday and is expected to meet with Maia Sandu, the office of the Moldovan President said in a press release.

After the meeting, the two presidents will hold a joint press conference. No other details of the visit’s agenda have been disclosed.

Klaus Iohannis last visited Chisinau in August of 2021, when he participated in festivities dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Moldova’s independence, alongside presidents Andrzej Duda of Poland and Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine.
