Romanian Premier to attend CEI summit in Chisinau

Romanian Premier Calin Popescu-Tariceanu will attend the summit of heads of governments of the Central European Initiative (CEI) in Chisinau on November 29. The announcement was made by the Moldovan Premier, Zinaida Greceanai, at a news conference, Info-Prim Neo reports. The events will take place in the wake of Moldova's holding the CEI's rotating presidency, as other premiers from the member states are also expected. Zinaida Greceanai added the joint inter-governmental commission for Moldo-Romanian cooperation will take place in October, as a series of projects important for the development of bilateral relationships are expected to be launched then. Earlier, at a meeting in Chisinau of the Moldovan and Romanian Presidents, Vladimir Voronin said “we all will remain impressed at the pleasant surprises to happen in the relationships between the two countries.”
