Over 50 software brands of the world IT leaders can be already purchased in Moldova, after the Romanian IT Company “Romsym Data” expanded into Moldova. Romsym Data is the official distributor of Autocad, Adobe, Linux, Macromedia, Micro Focus, Symantec, WinRar and Real Networks. The products proposed by Romsym Data are created for different activities – specialised systems for construction design, business contacts management applications, antivirus and multimedia software. Romsym Data Company Executive manager Razvan Balint told a news conference on January 22 that the Company has no competitors in Moldova for the licensed products. He mentioned that companies and individuals will have the possibility to buy licensed software from leading IT companies, and also benefit from company’s specialised technical support. The company will not propose a promotional price strategy. It will set the prices at the European level. Together with the opening of Romsym Data representation in Moldova, the business and communications magazine “PC Magazine Romania” will be launched. In the near future a local version of the magazine might be published. According to the authors, the magazine will provide computer users with updated information about the IT field. Romsym Data Company was created in 1992. Presently this company offers more than 1000 software products by means of 300 dealers in Romania. More than 100 of renowned companies in Romania are among Romsym Data’s customers, including Astral Telecom, "Ion Tiriac", Banca Comerciala Romana, Orange Romania, Panasonic Romania, Raiffeisen Bank Romania, Rompetrol and others.
