“Access to research facilities in Romania and joint grants are an enormous support that adds value to what we are already doing for supporting and motivating young people to embrace science and for providing opportunities for scientists from the Republic of Moldova to get involved in international projects in key areas”, declared the Minister of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, Anatolie Topală, during a conference of the Romanian academic and scientific diaspora, held in the Romanian city of Timișoara.

Also, the Science and Innovation Code is undergoing amendation to bring it in line with European standards, and financing instruments are being improved. “We will soon approve an ambitious national research and innovation plan. The objective of these changes is to be increasingly present in the world circuit of science, research and innovation”, added the minister.
